What are Messe München’s measures for promoting bauma to visitors?
MMG starts a worldwide visitor promotion campaign to publicise
bauma 2010 in all customer markets relevant to the construction and
construction materials industry. This includes, for instance, the
introduction of bauma 2010 at numerous trade fairs at home and abroad.
Important multipliers such as representatives of the press and the
associations throughout the world are invited to round-table talks and
press conferences, during which MMG presents bauma 2010 in detail. In
addition, interested journalists receive current information on bauma
2010 at regular intervals.
As part of our visitor promotion, we place numerous advertisements in
both national and international trade and business magazines. Apart
from the classical print media, we put increased emphasis on internet
banners with long-term runtimes. Exhibitors and visitors also have the
possibility of informing themselves about the latest developments
through our newsletter in print and in electronic form.

During the trade fair, special bauma information stands will be available for visitors at Munich’s central station (Hauptbahnhof) and the airport.
Visitors coming by car are navigated by a dynamic traffic routing system to the trade fair and to the nearest vacant parking spaces on the fairgrounds. The New Munich Trade Fair Centre and the ICM are located directly on the A94 and can be reached via the exits Feldkirchen-West (exit no. 6), München-Riem (exit no. 5) and Moosfeld respectively (exit no. 4).
