Against brand and product piracy
In order to protect the industrial property rights of
its exhibitors, bauma has introduced an extensive catalogue of measures. In
addition to an anti-plagiarism clause in its terms and conditions of
participation and a general ban on photography, it is also making an
information stand available at the West Entrance (EW.28) for the customs
authorities and the German Patent and Trade Mark Office.
At the instigation of Messe München
the District Court of Munich is keeping slots free for court hearings in
connection with bauma. This means interim injunctions can be brought faster.
The applicant should mark clearly on his application that it concerns an urgent
trade-fair matter, and note down the name of the trade fair – bauma – and the
dates for the fair.
