Information about the Media Dialog
What is the Media Dialog?
The Media Dialog is the perfect platform for a professional exchange between exhibitors and international trade journalists.
In personal discussions, exhibitors have an opportunity to inform journalists about their new products and techniques, call attention to their exhibits and have their companies appear in the media early.
Trade journalists from Germany and abroad can use this unique opportunity for their presswork prior to the fair.
When and where?
The meetings are going to take place at the ICM – Internationales Congress Center München on the grounds of the Messe München trade-fair center in the beginning of 2019. The date will be published later.
This event gives exhibitors access to a concentrated group of international trade journalists a few months prior to the exhibition—at exactly the right time and place for them to introduce their new developments and their exhibits.
Journalists gather at a single location for two days and meet with several exhibitors of bauma to find out about innovations and trends directly from the source—and before the fair even begins.
Who is invited?
Basically, all exhibitors participating in bauma 2019 can participate in the Media Dialog for a fee. The price of the attendance fee will be published later.
Journalists are invited by Messe München (in keeping with the Terms of Participation).
In principle, journalists who will not receive an invitation were able to participate in the Media Dialog at their own expense. Participation is subject to verification of a press ID and a bylined article in a relevant trade publication.
Additional information is available from the bauma press team.
How many participants were there?
Approximately 230 exhibitors and some 275 international trade journalists attended the Media Dialog of bauma 2016 and IFAT 2016.
Impressions of the event can be found here. Please observe the Rights of Use of Messe München.
