China is a country of a vast territory with wide latitude and a variety of terrain. Its geographical features make it vulnerable to natural disasters. In the face of natural disasters, LiuGong makes every effort to aid in disaster relief and help with donations to those most effected. Giving back and helping those who need it most.
On May 12, 2008, a powerful 8.0 magnitude earthquake struck the southwestern part of Sichuan and badly hit Wenchuan country in Sichuan province, killing 69,197 people and left 18,222 missing. In the quake almost 80% of buildings were destroyed. LiuGong immediately formed a designed team to provide the disaster relief work and delivered 100 units of wheel loaders and 30 units of excavators to do on-site support. A total of 4,686 parts worth RMB 685 thousand were donated.
The 2010 Gansu mudslide was a deadly mudslide in Zhouqu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, China that occurred at midnight on 8 August 2010. LiuGong allied with local dealers and sent more than 10 excavators and wheel loaders to Zhouqu.
Nearly 30 wheel loaders, excavators and cranes and 30 service staff and machine operators were at Sichuan Ya'an Earthquake in 2013.
In April 2015, 9 wheel loaders from LiuGong were sent to Nepal to work with Chinese police force on the Nepal earthquake relief work.
LiuGong’s machine is working on the relief work of a massive mud-rock flow in Shenzhen in 2016.
