The goal of the Pilosio Building Peace is to develop and coordinate social projects aimed at raising the life quality of people and communities who live in the worst-off and most underdeveloped territories.
To this end, Pilosio Building Peace activities culminate in the Pilosio Award, an event that each year gathers several hundred distinguished guests from all over the world with the goal of creating networking opportunities and mobilizing resources to make its social projects even bigger and of greater impact.
Among the ongoing projects of Pilosio Building Peace, #Re:Build Syria has to be mentioned, launched last year and developed in collaboration with arch. Cameron Sinclair and other partners.
The project’s goal is to contribute to facing the lack of educational opportunities for the young Syrian displaced kids who are currently living in Jordan and neighboring countries. A new project to realize the Hope Village in Somalia, in collaboration with Dr. Hawa Abdi Foundation, is ready to be launched.
All the initiatives of Pilosio Building Peace are based firstly on human relationships as Pilosio believes that a fair and modern society should be founded on the quality of people and that their devotion and effort is what can make dreams come true.
