Evolution of the real world: bauma Virtual
The construction industry becomes digitized—and virtual solutions gain ground: in exhibitions, in presentations, in apps. The advantage? Highly complex issues may thus be presented in an easy and quick manner, saving much space, time and money and intensifying the product experience. A trend that bauma clearly reflects—with its new sector bauma Virtual.
Sensationally virtual: the bauma VR Experience
Looking for an unforgettable experience? Then, the digital construction site of the bauma VR Experience is the right place for you: it lets you experience all aspects of a major construction site live. And even more: it will make you a part of the story—and will send you shivers down the spine.
The big advantage of virtual and augmented reality: highly complex facts can be experienced and grasped in little space. From product developments, prototypes or future scenarios: the presentation becomes limitless and makes the viewer the protagonist. In this special case this means: users will have a 360-degree view of all aspects of a major construction site and set the direction themselves.
Examples: at uvex, all will be about safety first, while Bobcat will show construction machinery in action and GEDA’s construction and industrial elevators will catapult you to unimaginable heights. DOKA will demonstrate its expertise in formworks with an embedded highrise model; Trimble will showcase the technology behind it: here, the focus will be on seamless data transmission and visualization. Every individual topic is important and exciting. All topics together are a real highlight in Hall B0.
The extra bit of adventure
Our joint booth bauma PLUS in Hall B5.214 offers additional virtual experiences—from the ‘Best Virtual Selfie Challenge’ to construction machines that are brought to life thanks to virtual reality.
Best example? VUFRAME® SmartView at bauma Virtual. This software lets you explore even heavy machinery and complex products in a simple, yet diverse way. As emotional as live experiences, but much more flexible and sustainable: every product presentation can be repeated any number of times, all information can be retrieved at any time.
