    New on the menu? The culinary bauma Boulevard right across the outdoor areas, offering a multitude of national cuisines: Asian, African, Oriental, Mexican, Bavarian and Italian as well as a Canadian barbecue pavilion.

    Just as varied: the Food Truck Area near the Entrance of Outdoor Area North/West. At the six different trucks you can choose between ox sandwiches, swivel grill, crêpes, pizzas, curries and pulled pork/beef. Enjoy!

  • Get connected: WiFi at bauma

    Enjoy free internet as a visitor at the trade fair center: there are various WiFi hotspots available in the halls and the outdoor area.

    Go online for free: once registered you can enjoy various WiFi hotspots in the halls and the outdoor area of Messe München. Simply connect your WLAN-enabled device with 'messeWifi', enter any URL in your browser and accept the General Terms and Conditions on the portal page.

    Please note: reception quality and signal availability may vary due to technical and structural reasons. The bandwidth is up to 4 Mbit/s. The download volume is limited to 200 MB per user per day.

  • Visa service for exhibitors and visitors

    Citizens from a number of countries require a visa to enter Germany. We would be pleased to assist you with a visa invitation letter to support your visa application.

    Generally speaking, residents of countries in the EU do not require a visa to enter the Federal Republic of Germany.
    For residents of several other countries, on the other hand, a visa is required to enter Germany.

    Specific visa requirements for your country can be found on the websites of the German Missions abroad (countries A to Z).

    In a directive transmitted per e-mail in July 2013, the German Foreign Office has informed the German Embassy and Consulate Visa Sections all over the world that in general, an official invitation letter from the trade fair organizer is no longer required when applying for a trade fair visa (see: website AUMA). Moreover, visa fees are waived for exhibitors at German trade fairs (see: website of the Federal Foreign Office).

    When applying for your visa, simply refer to this information. In case the visa section responsible for issuing your visa should nonetheless request that an official invitation letter be presented, please send an e-mail to: visaservice@messe-muenchen.de

    To ensure you obtain your visa before the trade fair starts, we recommend that you submit your visa application in due time. Applications can be made as early as three months before the time of entry.
